To secure our long term future the SSP must provide an effective, cost effective service which schools value and are prepared to support in the future.
To make sure that the we provide exactly what our member schools want/need we have consulted with schools to find out;
1) Which of the SSPs current services schools value the most and would like to keep in the future?
2) Which services schools didn't value and could manage without?
3) Are there any new services which schools would like the SSP to provide?
Based on this information we produced a proposal that outlined a package of services that we could provide to schools and set out a cost at which we could provide these for schools. Over 75% of the schools within the SSP previously have "bought" back in to the SSP this year, ensuring we can continue to provide a full and comprehensive offer to schools in the SSP.
All member schools have received a Menu of opportunities available to them, and schools have the potential to receive services/resources etc which will by far outweigh the minimal investment made. In fact several schools within the first term have ALREADY received services/goods etc in excess of what they paid in. If schools take advantage of just a small amount of what is available this year, it is our belief that each school will see a big return on their investment.
We are always keen to hear schools views on the service that we provide and would welcome any comments or feedback that you feel could help improve our work.
We look forward to working with our member school during 2011/12.
