The conference is being held on Thursday 15th October (9.00am-4.00pm) at the Sportspark UEA. The conference is titled "Collaborate for Dynamic Learning" and has been organised by the County's new PE Advisor, Kevin Holland, who took over from Martin Radmore at the start of the summer. The conference will be a really good CPD opportunity for anybody involved in the delivery of PE and School Sport within the county. The conference is aimed at staff working in both Primary and Secondary schools.The conference will include some excellent key note speakers including;•John Mitcheson (Ofsteds PE Lead)•Sue Wilkinson (AfPE Strategic Lead)•Andy Framwell (AfPE)•Penny Lewis (Peasons's PE Lead)•and a representative from OCRThe conference will also include a section of presentations and workshops on;• High Quality PE Teaching• Whole school impact of PE• Sports Premium funding• Norfolk School Games• Exam board input and syllabus changes• Healthy and active lifestyles• Assessment without levels• Competitive sport in the secondary phase• County initiatives and available support• AfPE High Quality mark• Curriculum models in primary and secondary phases (Including Real PE / Family Funs - Primary)There will also be a range of exhibitors showcasing the latest equipment and innovations. The cost of the conference is £165 per person and can be booked by your school office via the County Council S4S system (www.s4s.norfolk.gov.uk) course ref TLS-1015-T039. Attending the course will be a great CPD opportunity for staff members as well as a great use of Sports Premiun funding for Primary Schools.
