This is a new Festival for KS1 and will center around Outdoor & Adventurous Activities. The format will be a multi-station event, where children will rotate round a number of activities with an OAA theme - basic map skills, problem solving, teamwork games, etc - to give them a taste of OAA and staff an idea of what can be done at this age.
Each School that attends will go away with an OAA resource containing lesson plans, games ideas, scoresheets, etc which will allow you to explore the possibility of adding Outdoor & Adventurous Activities onto your PE curriculum.
Schools can bring one team of up to 12 children, with potential for a second/third team dependent on number of bookings.
Transport will be provided to our Member Schools, as long as you book by the deadline listed. Further information and indeed a little taster activity will be detailed at the SSP Conference on September 21st.
