PURPOSE
This training is to support more experienced PE subject leaders who have previously undertaken the SSP 3or 4 day Subject leaders course. This course will build on prior learning to enhance current practice and develop skills to lead the subject. It will provide practical solutions and support to all staff to improve outcomes, and to develop and enhance provision within the school.
The sessions will centre around the development of the School PE & Sport Premium assessment wheel – with deeper level discussions about how to develop and improve school outcomes.
The focus of these days will be to ensure schools can show the impact of PE and school sport.
FORMAT OF THE DAYS
All of the days will be a mix of theory and practical, with presentations / workshops and activities to bring the subject to life.
Day 1: National & local updates / Self-Assessment & development planning / Priorities Day 2: Review of Dev’ Plans / Action planning progress within School
