School Games Mark - Congratulations & Thanks!

Thank you to all our Schools who took the time to apply for School Games Mark in the current window - provisional results show it to be a record-breaking year for WNDSSP!

Some fantastic work within the 2015/16 academic year has meant that a lot of our Schools were in a very strong position with their applications and this has been shown in our results... with 5 Schools receiving the Gold Award, 13 the Silver Award and 9 the Bronze Award! We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff who took the time to prepare their School's application and offer a huge "well done" to all of you as 100% of applications were succesful!

The School Games Mark is a Government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels.
