The ever-changing British weather may have turned our OAA into IAA but it didn't stop nearly 200 children having a great time at our KS1 Festival yesterday.
The Children got to take part in 4 different OAA-themed activities in a range of games the majority had never played before, all led by the fantastic Yr10 Sports Leaders from Taverham High.
The teams for the day were made up of pupils from different schools which further enhanced the themes of teamwork, commmunication & friendship that the Games were all based on. The teachers from each School also got to take away a resource containing all the games played allowing them to replicate what they saw at the Festival back at their School.
It was a lovely afternoon with a great atmosphere, full of plenty of enjoyment & enthusiasm from the Children who keenly tried their best at all the new games.
Thanks to the following Schools who attended...
Reepham, St.Peter's Academy, Hockering, Drayton Infants, N.Elmham, Swaton Morley, Grove House Infants, Kings Park Infants, Mattishall, Toftwood Infants, Queens Hill & Gt.Witchingham
...and to the superb leaders from Taverham High School!
