School Games Mark & Sporting Stars Awards!

We've been out & about on our travels recently presenting lots of our member Schools with their School Games Mark & KS1 Sporting Stars awards.

It has been great being able to visit assemblies and present the awards, particularly with so many parents in attendance at these celebration events as it really highlights the fantastic work going in in their child's school within PE & School Sport.

We had a record number of Schools acheiving the School Games Mark in 2015/16 with 10 Bronze awards, 13 Silver & an incredible 5 Golds across the SSP illustrating the fine work taking place out in the Partnership.

2015/16 was also a great year for the inaugrual awarding of our KS1 Sporting Stars Award - 13 Schools (7 x Bronze, 6 x Silver) acheived the award for their superb work in 2015/16 and we expect that to increase next year as the Award grows.
