Secondary School School Games Angling!

Despite the chilly conditions 33 Anglers from 4 of our SSP Secondary Schools competed in our School Games Angling Competition at Barford Lakes.

On a tough day for fishing it was all about application, determination and resillience as the fish proved to be elusive but those Anglers who stuck with it were rewarded with some lovely Carp, Bream and a host of Roach & Rudd.

After the 3 hour match, a Top 6 had emerged due to the weight of their catch and these pupils were rewarded with a place in the WNDSSP Angling team for the County finals on June 23rd. These were...
