KS2 Pupils Jump Into QuadKids Action!

The UEA Sportspark was again the setting as nearly 100 children from Key Stage 2 took part in our latest QuadKids Athletics competition.

It was a great day in the sunshine as many of the children got to experience & use the fantastic Athletics facilities at the Sportsaprk for the first time. Competiing in their School teams, the pupils got to take on four events scoring points for their team dependant on times & distances. The events were 75m Sprint, 400m Run, Standing Long Jump & the Vortex Howler Throw and were expertly staffed by our brilliant Leaders from Taverham High School - many leading & experiencing a WNDSSP event for the first time.

Full results can be seen on the enclosed document, but after a great day of competition the Top 3 was as follows...

1st - ASTLEY B     2nd - TOFTWOOD JNR B     3rd - ASTLEY A

However congratulations must go to all the pupils from all 4 Schools who attended for taking part in such a fantastic spirit & with loads of smiles.
