A new approach for Gymnastics in 2018/19
Multi-station "come & try" approach with no formal routines or any pre-preparation needed.
HOWEVER - those Schools that want to be considered for progression to the County Finals can use their rotation on the floor & vault to have scores recorded.
For the competition, all members of the team complete a Body Management/Floor routine together to a piece of music of their choice that is between 1min to 1min 30 seconds long containing 4 compulsory elements & 6 optional elements. All pupils will also individually perform their chosen vault (pupils perform 1 vault)
QUALIFYING EVENTS ONLY OPEN TO COMPETITORS WHO DO LESS THAN 2 HOURS CLUB GYMNASTICS PER WEEK
Teams of 10 children for the festival (only 6 if you want to be considered for the competitive element, with at least 1 boy)
Please bring your lunch to eat at the venue.
Transport will be provided for all member schools if a place is booked by the above deadline date.
