Healthy, Happy, Active - The WNDSSP Health and wellbeing strategy is being launched to schools on Thursday 21 January in an Online conference.
In lieu of not running the normal competitions currently - we have invested Member school income in developing the strategy to support schools to support childrens broader health and well-being. This Conference will update schools on additional support / services / training opportunities secured by the partnership for members.
This is the most significant change to the SSP offer in a number of years, and coming mid year as part of our commitment to React / Adapt and Thrive through this current pandemic. Our aim is to evolve the SSP offer to incorporate school support beyond PE and School sport - and a broader focus on pupil/staff wellbeing to support schools better than ever before.
We will be showcasing Our 3 Tier approach to Health And Wellbeing Support - highlighting multiple areas of support for all schools to enhance your Health and Wellbeing provision throughout your school.
We would recommend PE leads and /Or Health & Wellbeing leads attend the session to gain maximum benefit.
Head teachers are invited to an introductory briefing before the conference (330-4pm )but are more than welcome to attend the core conference/launch also.
