WNDSPP Conference 2016 Kicks the Year Off!

Over 30 PE Subject Leads came to the Annual SSP Conference to help shape the future of the Partnership - as well as hear about the new developments for 2016/17!

There was a great buzz around the room as the staff got to network for the first time this academic year, and with so many committed PE enthusiasts in the room some great planning took place to ensure WNDSSP & its Schools have another fantastic year of PE & School Sport.

Discussion groups were formed to tackle subjects such as the new Health agenda, Key Stage 1 provision, Cluster based working, Targetted clubs and how to constructively use data.

A copy of the Presentaion used throughout the day is availbale to all staff in the resources section below.

Whilst at the Conference staff were encouraged to book their School onto the many competitions & festivals coming up, as well as the wide array of CPD opportunities available to them. Some new projects from WNDSSP were lanched too & met with great enthusiasm so watch this space for more details!
