Sportshall Athletics (Speed) Bounces In!

Sportshall Athletics was the focus of our latest CPD course in the Partnership, with plenty of action in a variety of events giving staff a wide range of learning.

It was again a really good turn-out from the Schools within our partnership, and staff got the chance to try out both Key Stage 1 and 2 Sportshall activities as well as learning some of the technical aspects of the jumping & throwing events.

The fantastic free resources available at the Sportshall Athletics website were also highlighted, and Schools were shown how these can be used in a variety of different settings within School PE time regardless of the pupils age or the size of the School's hall!
