The Final Day of Winter School Games Action!

It was a busy final day of School Games action as teams competed in Sportshall Athletics, Key Steps Gymnastics & Indoor Rowing all at the UEA Sportspark.

Rrepresenting #TeamRed in the Key Steps Gymnastics were Kinsale Infants & Dereham Church Infants who earnt their spots at the Level 3 final by qualifying from our Partnership event back in February. They both did fantastically well in amongst some tough competition, and full results & phot's can be seen by clicking here

Elsewhere in the Sportspark, teams from Drayton Junior, Toftwood Junior & Lyng were taking part in the noisy & exciting Sportshall Athletics finals. Again, all schools & pupils competing for #TeamRed did so brilliantly, and huge ciongratulations go to Toftwood Junior for coming 3rd in the Girls competition, as well joining together with Drayton Junior to pick up the Bronze medal in the overall competition. Finally, #TeamRed were represented by Neatherd High School in the Indoor Rowing Competition who took on some fierce competition from across the County to finsih in a brilliant 5th position in what was a fantastic spectacle to watch. We would like to extend a massive 'well done' and 'thank you' to all the pupils from all the Schools who have donned their red t-shirts to represent WNDSSP throughout the Winter Shcool Games program, and we look forward to the sunshine & the spectacular that is the Summer Games later in the year!
