Across the course of two days over 100 children took part in our School Games Mini-Tennis Competitions held at Easton Tennis Centre.
Split into two Competitions, the Schools from West Norwich took part in our first competition whilst the following day it was the turn of our Dereham Schools to take part. Both events were fantastic occasions, and it was great to see the improvement the children made with their Tennis skills across such a short space of time.
Full results from each event can be seen on the enclosed document, but our top 3 from each Competition were as follows...
WEST NORWICH SCHOOLS 1st REEPHAM C 2nd REEPHAM B 3rd ASTLEY A
DEREHAM SCHOOLS 1st N.ELMHAM B 2nd SCARNING A 3rd TOFTWOOD JNR C
Congratulations go to all our Schools who took part but especially to Reepham C and to North Elmham B who now go forward to represent the Partnership at the County School Games Finals on June 23rd.
All the games on both days were expertly umpired by the brilliant Sports Leaders from Ormiston Victory Academy and we were incredibly grateful for their help and assistance - we couldn't have done it without you! Thank you must also go to Mrs Bunning & Mr Peebles for arranging for them to be there on both days.
Also we were lucky to be able to use the fantastic facilities at Easton Tennis Centre on both occasions, and have the expert guidance of Matt Breese to help us out so we'd like to take this chance to say a huge thank you for that too.
