School Games Yr3-6 Girls Football

On a beautiful day for the beautiful game just over 160 girls came together at GOALS in Norwich for our Yr3/4 & Yr5/6 School Games Football competitions.

It didn't take long for the goals to start flooding in and the standard of the games was of a very high standard throughout the day - with all games taking place under the expert & watchful eyes of the Young Leaders from Easton College.

After a morning of Group games, the Girls broke for lunch before coming into the business end of the competition in the afternoon as they fought to qualify for the County School Games Finals on March 1st.

Yr5/6 - FIRSIDE JUNIOR (Winners)     ST.AUGUSTINE'S (Runners-Up)

Congrsatulations to those schools listed above who now progress on to the County School Games Finals, but a huge "well done" must go to all the girls who played the games in a fantastic spirit and ensured the day was enjoyed by all.

As mentioned earlier, we would like to extend a huge thank you to the 14 guys & girls from Easton College who gave up their time to referee the games and did so brilliantly - we couldn't have done it without you!
