KS1 Adapted Sports Proves Lots of Fun!

Over 100 children from Key Stage 1 recently took part in our first ever Adapted Sports Day aimed at Children in Years 1 and 2 - and what fun they had!

13 of our member Schools came along to the fun-filled & activity-packed day at Easton Tennis Centre, where Key Stage 1 children who are on the SEN register got to represent their School at a sporting event - many for the first time!

The children got to try out 8 different sporting activites throughout the day, all led and delivered superbly by the excellent Taverham High School leaders who are proving themseves to be a really talented bunch. The sports ranged from Rugby to Tennis, Athletics to Dodgeball with loads of other 'playground' games filling the gaps in between.

It was lovely to see so many smiling faces throughout the day & it is safe to say the children all had a fantastic time - and the event will be back in 2018 for sure! Huge thanks must go to Easton Tennis Centre for hosting us & once again to the Young Leaders for staffing the event so superbly.
