It was an amazing year for the Swimming gala this year, with an incredible 22 schools competing overall - 12 in the Big Schools and 10 in the Small Schools.

The Gala's were arranged as a Team competition, whilst the individual Swimmers were going all-out to win their Race.

The Big Schools from West Norwich and Dereham kicked things off in our morning Gala, the 12 of them competed in 25m races across Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke across 2 heats. Full results can be seen on the enclosed document but the top 3 were as follows...

Our afternoon Gala was for our Small Schools, it was full of close finishes and great effort all round. The Small Schools again competed in 25m races across Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke. The top 3 in the Team Competition is as follows...

A huge thank must go to Paul Robson & the staff at Dereham Leisure Centre for all their help in helping the events run so smoothly, and to Tanya Steadman & the team of volunteers from Dereham Otters Swim Club who were an enormous help in things running so smoothly. Also, we were lucky to have the Leaders from Neatherd High School helping us out and they were great, so a big thank you to them too!
