Our first festival of 2019 was actively underway with the KS 1 Sportshall Athletics Festival at Easton College Tennis Centre today.
Over 200 pupils from Years 1 and 2 took part in 8 different activity stations which included running, throwing, and jumping. Each station was run by Taverham High Schol Sports Leaders, this involved the students, leading a warm up, a skill and competition between the pupils. They were fantastic and a credit to the school.
At all our events we focus on 1 of the 6 School Games values - Today was Determination, well done to all the pupils who were nominated by their School and to Queens Hill Primary and Great Witchingham Primay Academy for being nominated as "Team of the day".
A huge big thank you to Easton Tennis Centre for hosting the venue and the Sports leaders for supporting the activities.
we look forward to seening you at the next event - Keystage 1 Gymnastics Festival in February.
