Goals Galore & Football Fun!

Recently over 250 Children from the Partnership came to GOALS to take part in both a Small Schools Tournament & a Non-Club Players Football festival.

With the day split into two seperate events, 12 teams from our Small Schools batled it out in a traditional 6-a-side tournament where the goals flew in and the talent was clear for all to see. After a day of fantastic action it was CAWSTON who emerged victorious but a huge well done goes to all the boys & girls who took part. 

In addition to this, we also ran a festival exclusively for Footballers who don't play for a Community Club - meaning many Children were playing competitive Football for the very first time. With 11 teams involved it was a fantastic day of smiles, fun, determination & enjoyment with all the games played in the best imaginable spirt. 

A huge thanks goes to GOALS for hosting us during the day, and the fantastic students from City College who refereed the games superbly throughout.
