Rain Curtails Girls & Small Schools Cricket!

The beautiful setting of Great Witchingham C.C played host to our second date of Kwik Cricket competitions - only for rain to stop play after the Group stages! 

Nearly 150 pupils took part as both our Girls Competition and our Small Schools tournament got underway in bright sunshine. Some fantastic talent, enthusiasm & attitudes were on display across some very competitive games as the boundaries flowed and wickets fell. 

However it proved to be short-lived, as a few minutes after the knockout stages began the heaven's opened & stay opened meaning no further play was possible. This lead to some joint winners...

Huge thanks again to Great Withcingham Cricket Club for their support in running our Cricket events, and a big thanks to Mr Llewellyn and the team of Leaders from Northgate for umpiring all the games.
