We held the KS2 Tag Rugby festivaland competition with over 300 kids particpating in the activity.
The schools had the choice to participate in the festival which was a taster morning of how the game of tag rugby works. So the Sports Leaders had a couple of schools each to do some basic skill drills with them so they understood how to play when it came to the afternoon when they put their practice into play in some friendly game agaisnt each other. So fingers crossed next year those schools in the festival which take part in the competition!
On the front pitch is where all the throwing, sprinting and dodging action was taking place in the Tournament. All the sports leaders on this pitch were refereeing and making sure all the children were playing safely and fairly. Even though it was a competitive every team showed great sportsmanship!
A big thank you for Norwich Rugby Club for letting us use the facility, aswell as the Neatherd High School leaders - we couldnt have run the events without you guys! And everone for coming!
