DESA sports leaders refereed, who were brilliant at supporting and encouraging the children to do their personal best. It was great to see over 160 girls involved in football and a great opportunity for the pupils to represent their school in a sports event. Following on from todays event, we encourage schools to provide the children an opportunity to develop and improve their football skills further by putting on clubs before/after school, break and lunchtimes as well as encourage the pupils to join a local community club to promote/grow football wider in Norfolk.
A big well done to Costessey Primary who won the Yr3/4 competition today and the runners up were Scarning
Also a big well done to Taverham Jnr 1 who won the Yr5/6 competition today and the runners up were Firside
