YR3-6 DODGEBALL COMPETITION
On 9th February we held our Yr3-6 Dodgeball Competition. This was a Compete themed event and was for pupils who enjoy competition. All Pupils received a participant certificate and the school games value celebrated for this event was Honesty. All children were encouraged to display the school games values and fair play but each team nominated one pupil from their school who stood out the most for showing Honesty School Games Value.
We had the following 19 schools/teams attend our event:
- GROUP 1
- Bawdeswell
- Corpusty
- Foulsham
- Gt Witchingham
- Litcham
- Lyng
- Mattishall
- Reepham
- St Mary's
- GROUP 2
- Astley
- Costessey
- Dereham Jnr
- Firside
- Kinsale Jnr
- Queen's Hill
- St Augustine's
- Taverham Jnr
- Toftwood Jnr
Reepham High School sports leaders helped run the competition, who were brilliant at supporting and encouraging the children. It was great to see 185 children involved in the competition and a great opportunity for the pupils to represent their school in a sports event. Following on from todays event, we encourage schools to provide the children an opportunity to develop and improve their dodgeball skills further by putting on clubs and encouraging the pupils to join a local community club to promote/grow dodgeball wider in Norfolk.
