The Partnership X-Country Competition was held on Monday 8th Feb at COstessey High School.

On Monday 8th February the fourth West Norwich and Dereham School Sports Partnership cross country event took place at Costessey High School. The weather for the afternoon was snowy at times and very cold but the runners didn't mind and all 240 finished the races to earn points for their teams. All of the races were extremely competitive and the top 10 boys and girls from each age group qualified for the county final on March 17th. "To see so many young students braving the elements to run as part of a team was inspiring" said Dave Upton, PE teacher and School Sports Co-ordinator at Costessey High. "This years event was a credit to the staff and runners of the schools participating and also the Year 10 sports leaders at Costessey High who helped run the event.
